Elizabeth Gregory-Taylor and her goat Stitch competed in the Round Robin event during the Cherokee County Fair. Stitch brought $2,100 in the Premium Auction paid by Roger Draeger.
The Grand Champion sheep shown by Kynlee Sommer, Spring Valley Sparklers, was purchased at the premium auction by Jay Hatfield Auto Group represented by Brian Wellmeier.

Former Titan Baseball stand out, Landin Midgett, hit two doubles and scored a run in the Joplin, Mo. Jailbirds win over the Carroll, Mo. Merchants, Tuesday, 8-7, in the M.I.N.K. (Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas) Collegiate League playoff game in Carroll. The team will be in action tonight in Joplin, Mo. for game two of the three-game championship series. Columbus Unified High School Titan Head Football Coach, Blake Burns and Emporia State University Defensive Coordinator, Jace McDown, oversee drills taking place during a recent contact camp hosted in Columbus with the assistance of the Emporia State Staff. Both coaches saw time on the gridiron as former Titan Players and are giving back to the youth of the Fighting Titan Community and surrounding area. Five schools participated in the camp that was held at the Central School Soccer Pitch.
