Barbara J. Garner-Houtz, 60, Pitcher

Barbara married Patrick C. Houtz on November 27, 1991. She is survived by two sons and one daughter: Patrick J. Houtz of Columbus, Floyd J. Moss III of Welch, Oklahoma and Misty D. Grube of Bluejacket, Oklahoma Also survived by 2 sisters: Evona Garner of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Beckie Brandon of Quapaw, Oklahoma and four grandchildren: Joshua Moss, Phoenix Houtz, Aurora Houtz, and Nathaniel Moss.

Barbara was the Operational Manager of Goodman Pub and Grub in Goodman, Missouri for over 12 years where she enjoyed serving and chatting with friends and family.

She was a beloved wife, sister, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. Barbara was the backbone and glue that held the family up and together.

She will be remembered forever and greatly missed. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. December 9, 2023 at the creek (2301 S. 660 RD Quapaw, Oklahoma). Please bring a side dish and join family and friends in celebrating her life and remembering all the good times.

Barbara J. Houtz was born on April 30, 1963, to Lonnie and Connie Garner of Picher Oklahoma. She left this world on November 30, 2023.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Lonnie Garner, Jr. and two sisters, Gloria Garner- Workman and Juanita (aka Nita) Vanatta.
